Angelica Varona Camara, Vice President of FANHS-WI and a member of the Souvenir Booklet Committee for the event, is soliciting items for possible inclusion in the souvenir booklet as follows:
1) Personal memorabilia such as photographs or other items about experiences during the Liberation of the Philippines. Please send us a copy of the picture and a story behind it.
2) First-hand testimonies, or stories told to the children of those who experienced WWII first-hand of WWII Philippine Liberation experiences.
Deadline to submit items is February 28. If your contributed items cannot be part of the booklet or they arrive after the deadline, we may still be able to display them at the event venue in June or create a compilation for the event. Please scan and save your photos and testimonies as pdf files and email them to email@example.com.
Please pass this information on to other organizations or individuals who may be able to share their memorabilia and testimonies relating to General Douglas MacArthur’s work in the Philippines with the committee.
